What is Permafrost?

Permafrost is a survival sandbox set on an Earth transformed by a shattered moon and permanent winter. You play Rook, an engineer drawn into the frozen world by a radio signal from a missing friend.

Exploration opens the way forward as you restore shelters, repair machinery and recover useful technology. A rescued dog helps with scouting and supplies, while online co-op lets a group of up to four share survival tasks.
